The three organizations
together operate the website bigbrotherawards.ch. They are responsible for the collection, storage, processing and use of your personal data and the compliance of data processing with applicable data protection laws.
Data protection is a matter of course for us. We comply with the relevant laws (in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection and the EU General Data Protection Regulation), and we do not have any small print General Terms and Conditions in which we grant ourselves rights without the explicit consent of the users.
When you visit our website, neither your IP address is stored nor are cookies installed on your computer. We also do not use any other technologies that allow conclusions to be drawn about you or your surfing behavior.
The data you enter in the nomination form will be stored in a separate database, which is only accessible to the jury and technically for the system administration of the p≡p foundation. A confirmation will be sent to the jury that an entry has been submitted, but only with a run number. The content you enter will never be sent by e-mail. The jury processes the submissions in a connection secured by transport encryption.

This data will only be stored and processed for as long as is necessary for the intended purpose (nominations, research work and determination of the final price recipient).
We do not pass on your personal data to third parties or abroad. If such a transfer should become necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose (determining the prizewinner / research work), we will obtain your explicit permission beforehand - provided that you provide us with the necessary contact information (e.g. an e-mail address).
You have the right at any time to request information about the personal data that we store about you. In addition, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and deleted.
You also have the right to request from us the data we have received from you in a common file format (data portability). Upon request, we will also forward the data to a third party of your choice.
The competent authority for any complaints regarding our handling of your data is the Federal Data Protection Commissioner of Switzerland.
